Skyonic has worked with LCRA and Luminant to test the SkyMine® technology in field-tests and demonstration plants at real-world, operational coal-fired power plants. Currently, Skyonic is working closely with Zachry Corporation, the owner of the Capitol Aggregates Cement Plant in San Antonio, to design a carbon-capture plant at commercial-scale. Skyonic plans to begin construction of the Capitol SkyMine plant in 2013.
